Lane Meyer Project is proud to present Not Safe For Work, a solo exhibition featuring artwork by Zach Reini.

This exhibition features 23 collages from my “Smut” series. All of the collages were sourced from vintage pornography magazine, which were acquired from Black B Read’s “back room” in bulk. Shape, color, and line are my main considerations in composition, the subject matter being secondary to the materiality of the paper; which is cut, folded, layered, and arranged to elevate the explicit and low brow into a celebration of the human form; bringing something often seen as taboo, out of the back room and into the foreground.
